About Northfield Podiatry
Northfield Podiatry is a family owned podiatry office that has been in business since 1951. We specialize in both palliative and conservative surgical treatment. Including foot manipulations, biomechanical evaluations, custom foot orthotics, sports medicine, and flat foot treatment with office-based HyProCure stents. We also offer comprehensive treatment of foot deformities and diabetic ulcer foot care. Our mission is to provide the highest quality foot care to our patients. We believe that our patients’ feet are the foundation of their body, and we strive to keep their foundation strong and healthy. Education and Experience
At Northfield Podiatry, our podiatrists have received advanced training in foot and ankle care & surgery. Dr Mitt Hoffmeister has been in practice since 1985. Joining his father Dr. Frank Hoffmeister in 1987. His credentials have included: Fellow of American College Foot and Ankle Surgeons, a member of the Michigan Podiatric Medical Association, National Board of Podiatry Examiners, American Board of Podiatric Surgery, and AAPSM. Dr. Hoffmeister specializes using cost effective and non-invasive techniques to help solve a variety of foot issues. He has also coached and treated athletes of all levels over his career. His treatments in many cases facilitates earlier return to their sport or activity.
